PRIOR TO OHIO: Played baseball for four years along with one year of basketball. Mancino finished the 2022 season with a .427 batting average, 41 hits and 21 extra-base hits, highlighted by five home runs. He was named Rookie of the Year his junior year and will captain the team his senior year.Â

PERSONAL: Mancino is the son of Paul, who played collegiate baseball at Northwestern, and Corey. He has one sister, Anna. He intends to major in business with the goal of working in finance or sales. In his spare time, he likes to golf. Mancino's favorite athlete is Mike Trout and he's a fan of the Cleveland Guardians, Cavaliers and Browns.
