Ohio Women’s Golf Finishes Ninth at A-Ga-Ming Invite

KEWADIN, Mich.- The Ohio Women's Golf Team opened the 2026-2027 season at the 2026 A-Ga-Ming Invitational hosted by Central Michigan September 6-7 at the Sundance Golf Course. The Bobcats' lineup of senior Zoe Luebbers, sophomore Paige Treherne, junior Ally Turner, senior Morgan Rodgers and sophomore Katie Husted finished the tournament in ninth place overall with a score of 904 (+40).
Central Michigan (+4) took home the win, followed by Bowling Green (+25), Bradley (+34) and Indiana State (+34).
As a team, Ohio opened the first round on Sunday morning with a 294 (+6). The Bobcats were in second going into the second round, which was later Sunday afternoon. At the conclusion of the second round, the Bobcats shot a 301 (+13) and finished out the day in seventh place. Ohio teed off Monday morning and finished the invitational shooting a 309 (+21).
Luebbers (Cincinnati, Ohio) led the Bobcats at the invitational, recording a round one score of 76 (+4) and a round two score of 71 (-1), and finished the day in fifth place. On Monday Luebbers recorded a score of 73 (+1), completing the invitational shooting a score of 220 (+4) and tied for 11th.
Rodgers (Centerville, Ohio) finished next, recording rounds of 73 (+1) and 74 (+2) on day one, coming out of the day in 16th place. On the second day, Rodgers shot a 77 (+5), and finished the invitational tied for 19th with a score of 224 (+8).
Turner (Miamisburg, Ohio) left the invitational tied for 30th, opening with a score of 70 (-2), shooting an 76 (+4) in round two, and 82 (+10) in the final round, concluding the weekend with an overall score of 228 (+12)
Treherne (Cincinnati, Ohio) placed 52nd overall, shooting rounds of 75 (+3), 80 (+8), and 79 (+7) and finishing with a score of 234 (+18).
Husted (Columbus, Ohio) tied 69th overall, shooting rounds of 77 (+5), 84 (+12), and 80 (+8), finishing with a score of 241 (+25).
Individually, Charlotte Soller (Cincinnati, Ohio) placed tied 72nd, shooting rounds of 87 (+15), 79 (+7) on day one, and 77 (+5) on day two, finishing the weekend shooting a 243 (+27).
The Bobcats are back in action September 14-15 at the 2026 Rocket Classic. The two-day event is hosted by Toledo at Highland Meadows Country Club in in Sylvania, Ohio.
