
Ohio Women’s Golf Ties For Fourth at Butler Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Ohio Women's Golf Team traveled to Indianapolis to tee off in the 2026 Butler Fall Invitational, hosted by Butler University, on October 5-6, at The Highland Golf & Country Club. Six of the Bobcats competed in the Invitational, including senior Zoe Luebbers (Cincinnati, Ohio), senior Morgan Rodgers (Centerville, Ohio), junior Ally Turner (Miamisburg, Ohio), sophomore Katie Husted (Columbus, Ohio), and sophomore Paige Treherne (Cincinnati, Ohio). Freshman Charlotte Soller (Cincinnati, Ohio) competed as an individual. Luebbers was Ohio's top finisher, finishing the Invitational tied for 6th place.
Butler University (+16) finished the invitational in first place, followed by Austin Peay State (+36), Loyola-Chicago (+46), and Akron (+52) to round out the top finishers.
As a team, Ohio started round one off shooting 292 (+14), followed by a 296 (+16) to finish day one in third place. In the final round, Ohio shot a 302 (+22) and wrapped up the Invitational tied for 4th place overall.
Individually, Luebbers led the Bobcats on the green, recording a round one score of 73 (+3). In round two, Luebbers shot a 72 (+2) and finished the day tied for sixth. During the third round, Luebbers again shot a 72 (+2) and finished the Invitational tied for 6th place with an overall score of 217 (+7).

Treherne finished the Invitational behind Luebbers, placing tied for 25th place. In round one, Treherne shot a 74 (+4), and in the second round, shot a 78 (+8). On the final day of the Invitational, Treherne shot a 73 (+3), finishing the Invitational with an overall score of 225 (+15).
Rodgers finished the tournament tied for 28th place overall, shooting a round one score of 75 (+5). Rodgers shot a 73 (+3) in round two and had a round three score of 78 (+8), finishing the Invitational with an overall score of 226 (+16).
Turner shot a round one score of 74 (+4) and finished in 22nd place. In the second round, Turner shot a score of 75 (+5) and finished round three shooting a 79 (+9). Turner finished the Invitational in 36th place with an overall score of 228 (+18).
Husted started the opening round shooting a 73 (+3), shot a second-round score of 76 (+6), and a third-round score of 81 (+11), finishing the Invitational in 45th place with an overall score of 230 (+20).
Soller competed individually for the Bobcats and finished the tournament tied for 77th place. In round one, Soller shot an 83 (+13). Soller came out of the second round shooting a 79 (+9), and in the final round, Soller shot an 82 (+12) and finished with an overall score of 244 (+34).
The Bobcats return to the course on October 19-20 at the 2026 Dayton Flyer Invitational hosted by Dayton at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio.
