Ohio Soccer Announces 2026 Promotional Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio Athletics has announced its promotional schedule for the 2026 soccer season.

The Bobcats will host 10 home matches at Chessa Field this fall as they look to compete for a Mid-American Conference Championship. Fans can enjoy themed games, giveaways, promotions and family-friendly activities throughout the season. T-shirts will be thrown out for each goal scored and also during halftime for all games.

Ohio opens the home slate on August 12 against UIC. Fans can pick up a 2026 team poster while supplies last.

The Bobcats return home on Aug. 30 against Mercyhurst for Battle of the Halls and Senior Day. We encourage all fans to arrive early to celebrate the 2026 seniors. With it also being welcome week, residence halls will compete for bragging rights on who has the most attendance. The winning dorm will earn a reserved North End Zone section at an Ohio Football game.

On Sept. 3, Ohio welcomes Pitt for Bark in the Park. Fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to Chessa Field, and pup cups will be available while supplies last.

The Bobcats host Indiana on Sept. 6 for Aaron Rodgers Night. The first 50 fans will have the opportunity to receive an autographed Aaron Rodgers photo. We encourage all fans to attend this Big Ten vs MAC matchup.

Ohio returns home on Sept. 17 against Western Michigan for Mental Health Awareness Night. Fans can receive customized stress balls while supplies last as the Bobcats help promote mental health awareness.

On Sept. 20, the Bobcats take on UMass for this year's Turn It Gold game. The first 50 fans will receive Ohio magnets, so we encourage all fans to arrive early.

The Bobcats welcome Central Michigan on Oct. 1 for their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink, and the first 50 fans will receive pink Ohio shirts while supplies last.

Ohio hosts Kent State on Oct. 11 for a Wear Green Game. Fans are encouraged to fill Chessa Field in green, while five random students will have the chance to win a $20 dollar Chick-fil-A gift card throughout the match.

The home schedule continues on Oct. 18 against Eastern Michigan for Wear All Black Day. Fans are encouraged to wear black and help create one of the best home-field environments of the season.

The regular season concludes on Oct. 29 against Toledo with the annual Halloween Game and Costume Contest. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes, enjoy candy giveaways, and compete for a grand prize in the costume contest where the winner will receive a prize pack.

Ohio soccer games are free for all fans.
