SOUTH BEND, Ind -- The Ohio women's track & field team concluded competition at the Meyo Invitational, hosted by Notre Dame, on Saturday, Jan. 31.
One of Ohio's first events of the day was the women's 800m open. Junior
Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.) placed ninth overall with a time of 2:11.42 while senior
Sara Doughman (South Lebanon, Ohio) finished 18th with a time of 2:13.90.
Junior
Emilee Baumann (Powell, Ohio) was Ohio's lone field competitor this weekend. Baumann took home fourth place in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.68 meters (12-0.75).
Two Bobcats placed in the top 20 of the women's 400m open. Sophomore
Ava Kincaid (Perrysburg, Ohio) recorded a notable PR, placing 18th with a time of 57.67. Freshman
Sydney Huckstep finished right behind Kincaid, placing 19th with a personal-best time of 57.76.
Sophomore
Kaitlyn Stewart (Floyd Knobs, Ind.) competed in the women's mile open, finishing 14th overall with a time of 4:53.20.
Graduate student
Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio) raced in Ohio's final event of the day, the women's 3,000 meters. Harris came in 15th place and recorded a time of 9:27.12.
The Bobcats will be back in action at Ashland's Jud Logan Light Giver Open on Friday, Feb. 6.
