ATHENS, Ohio – Happy finals week Bobcats! Check out everything that's ahead for Ohio Athletics in this week's Paw Prints, presented by Memorial Health System.

The Ohio men's basketball team (3-6) is back in action on Saturday, Dec. 13 for the 2025 Cleveland Hoops Showdown in Cleveland, Ohio. The Bobcats are set to take on St. Bonaventure (9-1) at 5 p.m. ET inside Rocket Arena and can be seen on PassThaBallLive. 

The Bobcats' matchup can also be heard on the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield, presented by Holzer Health System. Jason Toy begins his second season on the mic for the Bobcats, while Dave Cecutti joins him in his first season on the airwaves. WXTQ (Power 105) in Athens returns as the 11-station net- work's flagship and can be heard on the Varsity Network App

Ohio is 3-6 overall after going 2-0 last week, defeating Maine, 79-57, and Marshall, 88-81, in Athens. Overall, senior forward Aidan Hadaway averaged a double double with 14.0 points and 11.0 rebounds a game. He went 11-of-23 (.478) from the field, 5-of-11 (.455) from three and averaged two assists a game. Redshirt junior forward Javan Simmons and senior guard Jackson Paveletzke both averaged 14 points on the week. 

St. Bonaventure is currently 9-1 overall and is coming off a win at Buffalo on Saturday. The Bonnies only loss on the season is against North Carolina. Bonaventure is led by Darryl Simmons II with 15.1 points a game, while shooting 43.9 percent form the field, 41.4 percent from three and 86.4 percent from the line. Frank Mitchell adds 14.9 points and 10.6 boards a game, while shooting 52.0 percent from the field. 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The Ohio women's basketball team (4-3) is back on the road on Saturday, Dec. 13 when they head to Radford, Va. to take on Radford (6-5). Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. ET inside the Carilion Clinic Court at the Dedmon Center and can be seen on ESPN+. 

Ohio is coming off a 1-0 week where the Bobcats defeated UIC, 72-71, in thrilling fashion inside the Convocation Center. Redshirt sophomore Bella Ranallo had a stellar night against the Flames. Ranallo scored a team-high 18 points; shooting 6-for-13 from the field and 3-for-6 from the arc. Ranallo also recorded a team-high seven rebounds, six assists and five steals. Junior Bailey Tabeling was Ohio's second best scorer of the night. Tabeling finished with 17 points; shooting 5-for-15 from the field, 4-for-12 from the arc and 3-for-4 from the line. Tabeling added five rebounds, two assists and four steals.

Radford is currently 6-5 overall and is coming off a double overtime win over navy on Dec. 4 at home. Radford is led by Joi Williams with 10.7 points, while shooting 33.1 percent from the field and 30.9 percent from three. Angelina Nice adds 9.2 points a game and 3.7 boards.
