Tiana Nhamoinesu Named MAC Offensive Player of the Week

ATHENS, Ohio – Freshman forward Tiana Nhamoinesu (Thrisk, North Yorkshire) earned Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the week of October 13 for her efforts against Kent State and Longwood.

Nhamoinesu continued her strong offensive play for the Bobcats this week, scoring two goals that proved to be the difference in Friday's win at Kent State, and adding a game-tying goal in Sunday's game vs Longwood. In total, Nhamoinesu recorded seven shots in the week with five on net, scoring three times and assisting on another goal on Friday.
Nhamoinesu leads the Bobcats with 30 shots and is tied for the team lead in goals with four on the season.

Ohio will return to action on Friday, October 24, hosting Miami at Priutt Field. First touch is set for 3 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+.
