ATHENS, Ohio — The Ohio men's basketball team added three to its signing class for the 2025-26 season, head coach Jeff Boals announced on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Jordan Fisher, JJ Kelly and Zay Mosley will join Ohio in 2025.
"We are excited to add three high quality young men to our basketball family. Jordan, Zay and JJ will bring size, length and athleticism to our roster," head coach Jeff Boals said.
Jordan Fisher
Fisher, a 6'5 forward, is a native of Pickerington, Ohio, where he was a team captain at Reynoldsburg High School during his senior year, while helping lead his team to be crowned OCC Champions during 2023-24. He set a school record with 34 points in a game during an overtime win over Pickerington Central his junior year. Fisher recorded 27 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks against Groveport during the 2023-24 season, as well as hitting the game-winner against No. 9 Richmond Heights during the same season. Fisher also played club basketball for a variety of teams over his high school career. Off the court, he spent time as a YMCA volunteer and Reynoldsburg Special Olympics coach.
"Jordan is a major piece to a very good Reynoldsburg team that is very well coached by Andy Moore," Boals said.
Outside of basketball, Fisher enjoys video games, making music and quality time with his friends and family. Three of his relatives, Alex Kellogg, Nick Kellogg and Peyton Guice, played basketball at Ohio, while his uncle, Clark Kellogg, played for the Indiana Pacers. Fisher is the son of Nicole Butler and Paren Fisher, and has two brothers Jayce and Jalen Fisher, with a sister on the way. He plans to study business at Ohio, with the hopes of becoming a professional athlete and business owner.
JJ Kelly
Kelly, a 6'6 guard, is a multi-faceted athlete from Chambersburg Area Senior High School in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. While there, he earned varsity letters in track, basketball and football. He was the Pennsylvania Track and Field Athlete of the Year in 2023, and owns five combined school records across indoor and outdoor track. A consistent nominee to the All-Conference team for track and basketball, Kelly is also the all-time scoring leader in Chambersburg boys basketball history.
"JJ is a high flier, high level athlete who can really score the ball," Boals said.
Kelly is the son of Michelle Burget, and has two sisters, TT and Kamaya. TT plays basketball at Wilson University. When he's not on the court, Kelly can be found spending time with friends, driving and playing video games. He is undecided about what he will study at Ohio, but he hopes to become a professional athlete someday.
Zay Mosley
Mosley, a 6'7 forward, is a four-year varsity letterman and 1,000-point scorer, while helping head his team his junior year to a 27-2 record and advance to the state final four. The Winter Haven, Florida native currently plays for Oak Ridge High School. He also played for the FL Rebels for two years.
Mosley enjoys fishing, building legos and bowling. He is the son of Christina and Richard Mosley, and has two brothers, Richard Mosley II and Richard Mosley III and one sister, Milanj Stevenson. Richard Mosley II was a track and field student-athlete at Benedict and Richard Mosley III plays football at Stone Hill. He plans to study sports management at Ohio, with hopes of playing in the NBA.
"Zay will bring a high motor, hard working, winning mentality to Athens," Boals said.
