CLEVELAND - Junior Mackenzie McRee (Tucson, Ariz.) has been named the Mid-American Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league on Friday, Oct. 4.

Earlier this week, McRee finished as the individual champion at the 2024 Rocket Classic Invitational, and Ohio as a collective, was first among 10 total teams. McRee recorded a pair of birdies in her first round, and added three birdies in both the second and third rounds. McRee beat out a 58-golfer field across the two-day tournament.

The Bobcats have their next tournament on Oct 7-9 at the 2024 Bronco Fall Classic in Portage, Mich. hosted by Western Michigan University.
