Athens, Ohio – Ohio men's golf continues hosing MAC Championships in Alabama and Ohio softball looks to wrap up the regular season with with a chance to host the MAC Tournament on the line, while baseball celebrates its seniors. MEN'S GOLF

The Ohio men's golf team is set to host the 2023 Mid-American Conference Championships April 30-May 2 at the Canebrake Golf Club in Athens, Ala. The three-day event will begin Sunday with 18 holes starting at 9 a.m. Monday and Tuesday's rounds will also begin at 9 a.m.

The nine teams competing are Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Miami, NIU, Ohio and Toledo.

Competing for Ohio is Sam Hogan, Matt Daulton, Carson Trafford, Jack Neville and Will Kates.

The final two days streamed live on ESPN+.

SOFTBALL

This Ohio softball team (29-19, 19-7 MAC) concludes the 2023 regular season May 6-7 when the Bobcats host Buffalo (12-35, 6-17 MAC) for the finale series of the season. The Bobcats and Bulls open the series on Saturday, May 6 for a doubleheader set to start at 1 p.m. The two teams close out the weekend on Sunday, Ma7 7 at Noon.

Sunday will also serve as Senior Day for the Bobcats, where prior to the game, Ohio will honor Kaci Branch, Kylie Coffelt and Alexis Dawe for their accomplishments.

Entering the final weekend of the season, the Bobcats are currently tied at the top of the MAC standing with Miami and successfully clinched a spot in the MAC Tournament May 11-13.

This Ohio baseball team (16-23, 13-8 MAC) is back in Athens for the final home series of 2023 when they host Ball State (28-15, 15-6 MAC) May 5-7 at Bob Wren Stadium. The two teams open play on Friday at 6 p.m. and return to action on Saturday at 6 p.m. The two teams wrap up play at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Sunday will serve as Senior Day for the Bobcats. Prior to the game on Sunday, Ohio will honor Colin Kasperbauer, Braxton Kelly, Trevor Lukkes, Mason Minzey, Brenden Roder, Colin Sells and Will Sturek for their accomplishments.

Ohio track and field is back in action this weekend for one final event before the 2023 MAC Outdoor Championships. This week, the Bobcats head back to Morgantown, W. Va. for the WVU Last Chance meet May 6 at the Track & Field Complex at Mylan Park.
