Athens, Ohio –  This week in Ohio athletics, both men's and women's basketball wrap up the 2022-23 regular season- both hosting their Senior nights. There is also action from the baseball and softball teams, traveling to try to secure victories away from home. The wrestling team travels to Virginia to compete in the MAC Championships as winter sports start to slow down. Men's Basketball

The Ohio men's basketball team (17-12, 9-7 MAC) is back in action this week to conclude the 2022-23 regular season. Ohio begins the week on the road on Tuesday, Feb 28 at Kent State (23-6, 13-3 MAC). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the M.A.C. Center. Ohio wraps up the regular season on Friday, March 3 when Ohio hosts Bowling Green (10-19, 4-12 MAC) for Senior Night. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

The Ohio women's basketball team (6-12, 4-12 MAC) wraps up the 2022-23 season this week in Athens. Ohio begins the week on Wednesday, March 1 when they host Miami (11-18, 6-10 MAC). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Convocation Center and can be seen on ESPN+. The Bobcats return to the Convo on Saturday, March 4 when they host Eastern Michigan (14-13, 6-10 MAC) on Senior Day. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. on ESPN3.

The Ohio wrestling squad is set for the 2023 Mid-American Conference Championships hosted by George Mason March 3-4 inside EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Va. The Bobcats open competition on Friday at 12 p.m. for afternoon rounds, before returns to action at 5 p.m. for the evening sessions. The teams wrap up the weekend on Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m.

The Ohio softball team (3-9) is back in action this weekend for the 2023 EKU Colonel Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky. The three-day event begins on March 3 and will conclude Mach 5 at Gertrude Hood Field in Richmond, Ky. Ohio opens play on March 3 against Dayton (5-5) at 10:30 a.m. Ohio is back in cation on March 4 at 10 a.m. against the same Dayton team, before facing off with host EKU (10-5) at 3 p.m. on ESPN+. Ohio wraps up the weekend on Sunday morning with they take on Indiana State (5-5) at 10:30 a.m.
