ATHENS, Ohio— After a successful weekend for the Bobcats on the court and on the diamond, Ohio baseball gets started and men's golf returns to action after the winter break. Check out that and what's ahead for Ohio Athletics in this week's Paw Prints. 
 
MEN'S BASKETBALL

After a 2-0 week, the Ohio men's basketball team (14-11, 6-6 MAC) returns to action on Tuesday, Feb. 14 when they host Bufaalo (12-13, 6-6 MAC). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Convocation Center and can be seen on ESPN+. Ohio is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 18 when they head to Mount Pleasant, Mich. to take on Central Michigan (9-16, 4-8 MAC). Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. inside McGurik Arena and can be seen on ESPN3. 

Junior guard Jaylin Hunter is coming off a stellar week where he averaged 22 points and set a new career-high with a 25-point performance on Feb. 10 against Akron.

The Ohio women's basketball team (5-18, 3-9 MAC) are return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 15 when they head to Muncie, Ind. to take on Ball State (21-4, 11-1 MAC). Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. inside Worthen Arena and can be seen on ESPN+. Ohio is back in Athens on Saturday, Feb. 18 when they host Central Michigan (5-18, 3-9 MAC). Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. inside the Convocation Center and can be seen on ESPN3. 

Ohio is coming off a thrilling 72-71 victory against NIU on Saturday in Athens, with sophomore guard Yaya Felder scoring the game-winning basket with under a second to play.

After a successful opening weekend for the Bobcats, the Ohio softball team (2-1) is back in action Feb. 17-19 when they head to Baton Rouge, La. to compete in the 2023 Tiger Classic hosted by LSU at Tiger Stadium. Ohio opens the weekend against Central Arkansas (4-0) on Friday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. Ohio returns to the diamond later that evening to take on host No. 20 LSU (4-0). First pitch is set for 6 p.m. and can be seen on SECN+. Ohio returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 18 to take on Central Arkansas once again at 12 p.m., before taking on Utah (5-0) at 2:30 p.m. Ohio closes the weekend on Sunday, Feb. 19 when they take on Utah once again at 12 p.m. 

Ohio is coming oss a weekend that saw two come-from-behind victories where junior Annalia Paoli hit three homeruns and registered eight RBI.

The Ohio baseball squad opens the 2023 season this weekend when they head to Wilmington, N.C. to compete in teh Hugh Bros. Challenge hosted by UNC Wilmington at Brooks Field. Ohio opens play on Friday, Feb. 17 when they take on host UNCW at 5 p.m. The Bobcats are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 18 when they take on Navy at 11 a.m. and UNCW once again at 7 p.m. The Bobcats conclude the weekend on Sunday, Feb. 19 when they take on Virginia at 1 a.m. 

All four games will be steams on FLOSports. 

TRACK & FIELD 
Feb. 17-18 / Virginia Tech Challenge / Rector Field House / Blacksburg, Va. / Friday (4:30 p.m.) Saturday (11:30 a.m.) / Meet Info Live Results 

Ohio track and field is back in action this weekend when they head to Blacksburg, Va. Feb. 17-18 for the 2023 Virginia Tech Challenge inside Rector Field House. Competition on Friday, Feb. 17 starts at 4:30 p.m., while competition on Saturday, Feb. 18 starts at 11:30 a.m. 

Ohio is coming off a successful weekend at the SPIRE Collegiate Indoor Games today, where graduate student Larissa Manciaz grabbed a first-place finish in the 300m, clocking a 40.24, setting a new Ohio program record.

WRESTLING  
Feb. 18 / at Buffalo / Alumni Arena / Buffalo, N.Y. / 7 p.m. / ESPN+ / Watch / Results

The Ohio wrestling team (4-9, 3-3 MAC) concludes the 2022-23 regular season on Saturday, Feb. 18 when they head to Buffalo, N.Y. to take on Buffalo (7-12, 303 MAC) in the season finale. Meet time is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Alumni Arena and can be seen on ESPN+. 

MEN'S GOLF
Feb. 19-21 / Mickey Mouse Intercollegiate / Disney's Palm Golf Course / Lake Buena Vista, Fla. / TBD / Live Results 

The Ohio Green men's golf teams opens its spring season Feb. 19-21 when they head to Lake Buena Vista, Fla. for the 2023 Mickey Mouse Intercollegiate hosted by Bellarmine at Disney's Palm Golf Course. The three-day, 54-hole event beings on Sunday, Feb. 19 with the first 18 holes. The teams return to action Monday, Feb. 20 for the second round, before wrapping up with the final 18 holes on Tuesday, Feb. 21.
