BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Following two rounds of play in the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational hosted by Bowling Green, the Ohio women's golf team finished in 11th place with a team score of 646 (+70). Inidividually, the Bobcats were led by
Catherine Loftus (Roswell, Ga.), who used a strong second round to finish in a tie for 20th place.
The tournament, played at Stone Ridge Golf Club, teed off on Saturday (April 9). The first round finished with Ohio sitting in 10th place after shooting a team score of 332 (+44).
Ashley Flynn (Dublin, Ohio) turned in the best scorecard for the Bobcats after the first 18 holes of play with a 79 (+7).
Sunday (April 10) brought the second day of competition, and Ohio was able to improve on their team score. The second round finished with the Bobcats shooting a 314 (+26) as a team to wrap up their competition at +70 as a team. Loftus scored a 74 (+2) on the second day, moving the senior into a tie for 20th place and her best finish on the season. Flynn also recorded a season-best finish, wrapping up play at +20 and in 51st place.

The women's golf team will now turn their attention to postseason play, as they begin preparation for the MAC Tournament at the end of April. The tournament will be hosted by Toledo, from April 22-24, at the Stone Oak Country Club.
