JOHNS CREEK, Georgia – The Ohio Women's golf team headed south to Johns Creek, Georgia, to compete in the 2026 Georgia State Invitational, hosted by Georgia State University at the Rivermont Golf Club. The Bobcats' lineup for the Invitational consisted of junior
Zoe Luebbers (Cincinnati, Ohio), junior
Morgan Rodgers (Centerville, Ohio), senior
Mackenzie McRee (Tucson, AZ), sophomore
Ally Turner (Miamisburg, Ohio), and freshman
Paige Treherne (Cincinnati, Ohio). Overall, Ohio finished tied for ninth place, with Turner leading the way for the Bobcats, finishing tied 15th.
The hosts of Georgia State finished in first place with an overall score of 883 (+19). Emory University finished in second place with a score of 886 (+22), Bowling Green finished in third place with a score of 890 (+26), West Georgia finished fourth overall with a score of 891 (+27), and Quinnipiac rounded out the top five with a score of 896 (+32).
As a team, the Bobcats shot a 303(+15) in round one and 296 (+8) in round two, finishing day one of the Invitational tied for sixth place. On the second day of competition, Ohio shot a 315 (+27), finishing tied for 15th with an overall score of 914 (+50).
Individually, Turner led the Bobcats' efforts across the Invitational, finishing tied 15
th overall. In the first two rounds, Turner shot a 73 (+1) in both, finishing the day tied for 11
th place alongside Rodgers. During day two of the Invitational, Turner shot a 76 (+4) and finished tied for 15
th place overall with a score of 222 (+6).
Rodgers finished behind Turner, tied for 24
th place with an overall score of 225 (+9). In round one, Rodgers shot a 76 (+4) and shot a season low 70 (-2) in round two, finishing the day tied for 11
th place. On day two of the Invitational, Rodgers shot a 79 (+7), earning her a 24
th-place finish.
Luebbers finished day one shooting a round one score of 73 (+1) and a round two score of 74 (+2), finishing the day tied for 16
th place. On day two of the Invitational, Luebbers shot an 81 (+9), finishing tied for 34
th place with an overall score of 228 (+12).
Treherne finished day one tied for 68
th place after shooting a round one score of 82 (+10) and a round two score of 79 (+7). On the second day of the Invitational, Treherne shot a 79 (+7) and moved up two spots to finish tied for 66
th overall, with a final score of 240 (+24).
After three rounds, McRee finished tied for 78
th place, with an overall score of 249 (+33). In round one, McRee shot an 81 (+9) and shot an 82 (+10) in round two, ending the day tied for 73
rd place. McRee shot an 86 (+14) in round three and finished tied for 78
th place.
Ohio is back in action April 6-8, at the 2026 Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge in Pawley's Island, South Carolina, hosted by Golfweek at the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club.
