GREENSBORO, N.C. – Three members of the Ohio swimming team wrapped competition at the 2022 Toyota US Open this week in Greensboro, N.C.
Senior
McKenzie Grau (Mason, Ohio) wrapped the 50m freestyle heats on Dec. 1, finishing her race in 26.74.
On Friday, Dec. 2, junior
Gabrielle Brust (Granville, Ohio) opened the day in the 100m butterfly heats, placing 14
th in 1:01.33 and qualifying for the 'B' final. Then later in the evening, Brust competed in the 'B' final, finishing sixth with a time of 1:01.49.
Then in the 100m breaststroke heats, freshman
Casadie DiBetta (St. Clairsville, Ohio) finished the third heat with a time of 1:12.50.
The Bobcats are off until the start of the new year when the divers head to Buffalo, N.Y. for the Buffalo Diving Invite on Friday, Jan. 12, 2023, while the swimmers head to Huntington. W.Va. to take on Marshall on the same day.
