Ohio Diving Concludes Buffalo Diving Invite

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Ohio diving squad wrapped up competition at the 2023 Buffalo Diving Invitational this weekend in Buffalo.
The invitational began Friday with the 1-meter event. In the preliminary rounds, senior Halli Siwik (Fishers, Ind.) finished eighth with a score of 248.85. Siwik was back in action later in the day in the 1-meter finals, where she placed 12th overall with a score of 229.40.
On Saturday in the 3-meter dive, sophomore Sophia Cooper (Milford, Ohio) was the top finisher for Ohio in the preliminary rounds, finishing 18th with a score of 226.30, while Siwik placed 22nd with a score of 221.05.
The divers are back in action on Friday, Jan. 20 when they head to Toledo, Ohio for a tri-meet with the Rockets and Buffalo.
