ATHENS, Ohio — The Ohio Swim & Dive program has added Maddie London as an assistant coach, head coach Mason Norman announced today (Aug. 14). London will assist with recruiting, athlete development and program operations.
"We're excited to welcome Maddie to our program," Norman said. "Throughout the interview process, it became clear very quickly that she was a perfect fit for the staff and culture we are building. She brings strong experience, a tremendous work ethic, and genuine passion for student-athlete development. We are confident she will make an immediate impact on our team and help continue moving Ohio Swimming and Diving forward."
London joins the Bobcats from Hillsdale College, where she served as the assistant women's swim coach and led recruiting efforts, helped the team break six school records, post 60+ lifetime-best times in a season, and ran a fundraiser that provided new team lockers.Â
She previously served as varsity swimming head coach at Shaler Area High School, guiding the program to its first WIPAL Championship-qualifying women's relay since 2010. She has also spent time as an operations and technical assistant for Michigan Swim Camps, supporting daily camp operations, athlete group management and session transitions for large camper populations.
London holds a B.A. in Communication and an M.S. in Marketing Science, both from the University of Pittsburgh while competing as a member of the varsity women's swim & dive team.
