-Ohio played in front of the third largest crowd in program history (101,362)
OFFENSE
-After missing last week with an injury, senior WR Sebastian Smith returned to action to log a career-high 156 receiving yards on nine catches including a long of 42.
-Smith was the first Ohio WR to record 150 or more receiving yards since Donte Foster in 2013.
-RS senior WR Jordan Reid scored the only touchdown of the day for Ohio on a four-yard catch from Windham.
-Windham went 23-46 for 230 yards through the air and 39 on the ground.
-Freshman walk-on Vinny Emanuele saw his first action of his career making five rushes for seven yards.
-Ohio had a season-low with five penalties for 30-yards.
-Ohio was out-rushed for the first time this season but out-passed its opponent for the first time (230-203).
-Ohio has still not allowed a sack this season.
DEFENSE
-Tennessee scored on the opening kickoff, it was the first time this season the Bobcats gave up an opening drive score.
-Ohio sacked Tennessee three times in the game â€" (Robbins, Aloese, Basham) which was a season-high against the Vols.
-RS junior LB Quentin Poling had a season-high 14 tackles including nine solo stops.
-RS sophomore cornerback Randy Stites recorded his first career interception.
-RS sophomore defensive lineman Cleon Aloese had a career high seven tackles including two tackles for loss.
-Ohio posted eight tackles for 37-yards lost, including three sacks for 37 yards.
-Ohio held Tennessee without a 100-yard rusher for the first time this season.
SPECIAL TEAMS
-RS freshman Louie Zervos had went 4/4 on field goals including a long of 38. Zervos is now 13/14 on the season in field goal attempts. He also went 1/1 on PAT.
-RS freshman punter Michael Farkas had seven punts for 298 yards including a long of 49 and pinned two within the Tennessee 20.
