SORRENTO, Fla. â€" The Ohio women’s golf team finished the first day of the MSU Spring Citrus Challenge, hosted by Morehead State, in 13th place with a first round total of 307 (+19).
Leading the Bobcats is junior Hailey Hrynewich (Muskegon, Mich.) who finished the first round with a total score of 75 (+3), which ties her for 28th place.
Senior Angela Codian (Massillon, Ohio) finished the day +4 (76), which places her tied for 42nd, and sophomore Lily Pendy (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) currently sits tied for 58th place after finishing day one at +5 (77).
Rounding out the Bobcat five are senior Lauren McKinzie (Medina, Ohio) and freshman Emily Hughes (Columbus, Ohio), who both finished the day tied for 77th place after shooting a first round total of 79 (+7).
The Bobcats continue play at the 2016 MSU Spring Citrus Challenge on Monday, March 21 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
