Day One Results
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. â€" The Ohio women’s golf team finished the first day at the 2015 Mid-American Conference Fall Preview in ninth place after Sunday’s (Oct. 11) rounds. In the first round the Bobcats shot a 312 and a 315 in the second round to finish the day 627 (+51).
Eastern Michigan leads the field after the first day, finishing Sunday at +22 (598).
Leading the Bobcats is sophomore Lily Pendy (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) who finished the first day tied in 27th place after shooting a 79 in the first round and then followed it up with a 75 in round two, finishing the day at +10 (154).
Next for Ohio is freshman Emily Hughes (Columbus, Ohio) who shot a 74 in the first round and an 81 in round two, finishing the day with a two-round total of 155 (+11) and tied for 35th place.
Junior Hailey Hrynewich (Muskegon, Mich.) sits tied for 49th place after shooting an 83 in the first round and finishing the day with a 79 for a two-round total of 161 (+17). Senior Angela Codian (Massillon, Ohio) also finished Sunday tied for 49th place after scoring an 80 in the first round and an 81 in the second round to finish +17 (161).
Rounding out the Bobcats is freshman Nicole Smiley (Dublin, Ohio) who shot a 79 in the first round and an 83 in the second round to finish day one with a combined score of 162 (+18) and tied for 53rd place.
Playing unattached is senior Lauren McKinzie (Medina, Ohio) who finished Sunday tied for 46th place after shooting a, 80 in the first round and an 81 in the second round to wrap up day one at +15 (159).
