YORKTOWN, Ind. -- The Ohio University women's golf team fired a 313 (+25) combined-team score on Tuesday (Sept. 23) at The Players Club in final-round play of the Cardinal Classic to seize a fourth-place finish with a 618 (+42) 36-hole mark.

YORKTOWN, Ind. -- The Ohio University women's golf team fired a 313 (+25) combined-team score on Tuesday (Sept. 23) at The Players Club in final-round play of the Cardinal Classic to seize a fourth-place finish with a 618 (+42) 36-hole mark.
Sophomore Hailey Hrynewich (Muskegon, Mich.) dealt a 78 (+6) in the tournament's final round, giving her a 150 (+6) two-round score. Her 36-hole mark placed her in a tie for eighth, marking the second top-10 finish of her career.
Junior Angela Codian (Massilon, Ohio) carded a 76 (+4) in second-round play to maintain a share of 18th place with a 153 (+9) two-day total. She has compiled rounds of 76-or-below in all three of Ohio's tournaments this year.
Freshman Lily Pendy (Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.) tallied a 78 (+6) to secure a tie for 22nd with a 154 (+10) 36-hole total. The rookie has finished in the top-half of the field in all three of Ohio's tournaments this year.
Senior Julie Lechner (Powell, Ohio) registered an 81 (+9) to garner a tie for 50th with a 161 (+17) two-round mark.
In the individual competition, sophomore Jessica McRae (Wadsworth, Ohio) slashed a single-round career-best 82 (+10) to notch a piece of 72nd with a 36-hole total of 166 (+22).
Junior Lauren McKinzie (Medina, Ohio) rounded out play for the 'Cats with an 82 (+10) final-round effort to net a 169 (+25) two-round total, slotting her in a tie for 80th.
Ohio will next hit the tees for the Golden Grizzly Invitational (Sept. 27-28) in Rochester, Mich.
