QUOTABLE
First-Year Head Coach Saul Phillips:
• "It can't be all negative, all the time. You can't do it that way; you can't live life that way. Not if you're going to grow together as a group. There are plenty of things that I don't like. We're working on them. There are plenty of things that I didn't like when I got here that we've gotten better at."
• "(Campbell) has a big, big upside and has a chance to get himself in the kind of conditioning that would make him an absolute difference-maker."
Sophomore forward Antonio Campbell:
• "It's kind of the role I'd like to play, bringing energy off the bench, (with) points and stuff like that. I think it's fit me pretty well for right now. I'm wherever coach wants me to be."
Redshirt senior guard Javarez Willis:
• "It's a learning lesson. We've just got to start getting better. We were having trouble (playing well) in the first half, now we're (playing well) in the first half. We've just got to learn to put two halves together of solid basketball."
UP NEXT
• The Bobcats will be back at the Convocation Center next Saturday (Dec. 13), hosting Alcorn State at 2 p.m. ET.
