ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio men's basketball team has added Australian guard Ché Brogan to the roster for the 2026-27 season, head coach Jeff Boals announced today (April 15).

"Ché is a tough, talented, competitive player that comes from a basketball family," Boals said. "He will add playmaking and toughness to our roster. He has been productive every level he has played."

Brogan, a 6-5 guard from Melbourne, Australia played last season at the Centre of Excellence (Aus) where he averaged 13.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

In the 2025 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup, Brogan played in seven games, averaging 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

Prior to his two seasons at the Centre of Excellence, Brogan attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif.

Brogan is the son of Basketball Australia Hall of Famer, two-time Olympic medalist and former WNBA player Michelle Brogan and nephew of Adelaide 36ers NBL Championship-winner Dean Brogan.
