Davidson would go to load the bases later on in the frame, but Streich navigated his way out of the jam as he got Drew Gadaire to fly out to right field to end the threat.
Ohio evened the count in the top of the third as Geller roped a double to center which drove in senior captain Ethan Newton (Norfolk, Va.) from second. Newton got on base as he drew a two-out walk. He then picked up his team-best third steal on the year, swiping second base.
Davidson reclaimed the lead in the bottom half of the fourth inning as it scored three runs on three hits to take a 4-1 lead that it would not relinquish.
