Women's Golf in 19th Place at Duramed Collegiate

RIO VERDE, Ariz. - The Ohio University women's golf team carded a first-round 325 (+41) on Friday in the opening round of the Duramed Collegiate Invitational at Rio Verde to conclude the first day of play in 19th place.

Sophomore Jordan Fesh (Toledo, Ohio) led the Bobcats with an eight-over 79 on Friday, good for a share of 43rd place after 18 holes. Senior Lindsay Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) tallied a first-round 81 (+10) on the day to tie for 62nd place, while sophomore Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) and junior Colleen Lienesch (Centerville, Ohio) shot 82 (+11) and 83 (+12), respectively, to tie for 73rd and 83rd in the standings. Junior Lauren Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) rounded out the Bobcat lineup with an opening-round 84 (+13) to earn a share of 89th place.

The second round of the Duramed Collegiate Invitational at Rio Verde will be contested on Saturday with a shotgun start scheduled for 10 a.m. ET.
