Keith Williams joined the Bobcats as the assistant coordinator of men's basketball in July 2024. 

In 2024-25, Williams coached four Bobcats to All-MAC honors. AJ Clayton and Jackson Paveletzke earned Third Team nods, Shereef Mitchell was tabbed Honorable Mention and Elijah Ellott was named to the All-Freshman squad. Clayton was also named the Lou Henson National Player of the Week and Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week throughout the season. Mitchell and AJ Brown were also named Academic All-MAC, while Paveletzke earned a spot on the Academic All-District squad.

Williams comes to Ohio after a successful playing career at University of Charleston, where he was a member of the team from 2018-2023.

Williams is the all-time wins leader in program history with 102 wins a three-time All-MEC selection and is a two-time First-team All-MEC pick. Williams is a mamber of the 1,000 point club and a top-20 scorer in UC history. Williams was a part of the 2020-21 MEC Championship team. In 2023-24, as a first year assistant at UC, he helped lead them to a MEC conference championship.
