Ohio Wrestling Announces 2026-27 Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio Wrestling has released its schedule for the 2026-27 season, head coach Joel Greenlee announced today (Sept. 18). This year's schedule includes six home dates, including the Ohio Wrestling Showcase.Â
The Bobcats will begin the regular season on Nov. 1 on a trip to Roanoke, Va. to compete in the Southeast Open, with action starting at 9:00 a.m. ET.Â
Ohio returns home to open its home schedule hosting the Ohio Showcase, set for Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. ET at the Convocation Center. This year's event will once again feature three mats going on at once. The DI mat will see Ohio take on Bellarmine; DII will be Ashland against UIndy, with DII featuring Baldwin Wallace and Wabash. Â
The Bobcats hit the road the following week to take part in the Princeton Quad on Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. ET. While there, Ohio will face off with Princeton, Duke and Chattanooga. Ohio will then head to College Park, MD on Nov. 22 for the Maryland Tri-Meet when the Bobcats will face off with Maryland and Morgan State.Â
Ohio's road trip will end in Las Vegas for the Cliff Keen Invitational on Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5. Â
The Bobcats close out 2026 at home against Gardner Webb in a dual meet on Sunday, Dec. 20 at 1 p.m. ET inside the Convocation Center. Â
Ohio will return to the Convocation Center to begin 2027, hosting Lock Haven to open conference competition on Sunday, Jan. 3 at 1 p.m. ET.Â
The Bobcats will then travel for a pair of dual meets against conference competition, first taking on SIUE on Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. ET, then taking on Rider on Jan. 15. Â
Ohio's road stint continues Jan. 22 in Richmond, Va., where they will take on VMI at Benedictine Prep, set to begin at 6 p.m. ET.Â
The Bobcats close out January in the Convo with a dual meet against Central Michigan on Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. ET.Â
Ohio opens February at home to face MAC foe Kent State in the Grudge Match on Friday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. ET.Â
On Sunday, Feb. 7, the Bobcats will close out the home slate with a dual meet against Clarion, set to begin at 1 p.m. ET. Â
Ohio will travel to take on Edinboro on Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. ET before closing out the regular season at Buffalo on Saturday, Feb. 21. Â
The Bobcats will open the month of March traveling to Edwardsville, Ill. for the 2027 Mid-American Conference Championships March 5-6 inside First Community Arena. Â
The 2027 NCAA Wrestling Championships are set for March 18-20 in St. Louis, Mo. at Enterprise Arena.Â
