2023-24: Posted an 1-6 record competing at 184 pounds. 

Prior to Ohio: While at Lakota West, Skelton earned three varsity letters as a part of the wrestling team, ran cross country for three seasons, and track during his senior year. During his wrestling career, Skelton compiled a total of 70 wins and was named an alternate for the state tournament. He was also named to his conference All-Academic teams and 2nd and 3rd All-Conference teams.  

Personal: Son of Greg and Danielle Skelton... Has one younger sibling, Dylan... Outside of wrestling, Cooper enjoys playing golf... His favorite athlete is Joe Burrow and favorite team is the Cincinnati Bengals... While at Ohio, Cooper plans on studying exercise sciences with the goal of becoming a physical therapist.
