2023-24: Posted a 5-6 record on the season at 184 pounds... recorded his first dual meet win against Drexel.
Prior to Ohio: At Bellevue and Tiffin Columbian, Ray earned four varsity letters for wrestling and three letters for football. During his wrestling career, Ray was a three-year captain and won over 150 matches. Ray placed three times in state and was a finalist once. Wrestled for Miron outside of Tiffin Columbian.Â
Personal: Ray comes from a family of athletes... His father, Jeff, wrestled and played football at Findlay... His mother, Kim, played soccer at Findlay... Brother, Chase, played baseball at Morehead State... Sister, Chase, played soccer at Valparaiso... Also has another sister, Payton, attending West Virginia... In his free time, Ray likes to partake in CrossFit, hike, and play golf... His favorite team is the Cleveland Browns and player is Nick Chubb... Plans on majoring in marketing with plans to become a real estate agent.Â
