Prior to Ohio: Comes from Marietta, Ohio where she attended Marietta Senior High School. During her high school career, Wharff earned four varsity letters and was named captain for her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. During her career, she qualified for the Ohio state tournament twice and won two sectional championships. In addition to her golf success, Wharff was a four-time letter winner in basketball and was captain for three seasons.Â
Personal: Daughter of John and Carol... Has one older brother, John. Off the course, Saylor likes to fly her drone, go on hikes and meditate. Her favorite athletes include Collin Morikawa, James Harden, Kobe Bryant and Paige Bueckers. Wharff's favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers.Â
