INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Ohio women's track & field concluded a successful final day of competition at the Heartland Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14.
Junior
Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.) was Ohio's top performer of the day in the women's mile. Greenwell ran the second-fastest indoor mile time in program history. The junior placed sixth overall with a PR of 4:48.01. Graduate student
Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio) and sophomore
Mairin O'Brien (Lewis Center, Ohio) also placed in the top 10 of the women's mile. Harris placed eighth (4:55.71) and O'Brien took home 10
th place (4:57.76, PR).
Ohio kicked off the day with the women's shot put. Graduate student
Jasmine Correa (Holland, Mich.) finished in 18
th place (12.25m/40-2.25). Sophomore
Ashley Cornathan (Hilliard, Ohio) finished in 19
th place with a personal-best mark of 12.19 meters (40-0).
Senior
Sara Doughman (South Lebanon, Ohio) was Ohio's top performer in the women's 800m, placing sixth with a time of 2:12.07.
Junior
Emilee Baumann (Powell, Ohio) led the way for Ohio in the women's pole vault with a second-place mark of 3.66 meters (12-0).
Senior
Morgan Roth (Brunswick, Ohio) ran a PR of 17:22.72 in the women's 5,000 meters, placing seventh in the event.
Ohio concluded the meet with the women's 4x400m relay. Junior

Elinor Shuttleworth (Beavercreek, Ohio) placed eighth with a time of 3:49.37.
