
Ohio Wrestling Ranked Eighth in Latest MAC Coaches’ Poll

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced updated team and individual weight class rankings after 15 weeks of competition, with Ohio ranked eighth out of 12 teams.
The Bobcats held steady at the eighth spot from January's rankings, sitting eight points behind Edinboro and Northern Illinois. Rider leads the coaches' poll, followed by SIUE and George Mason. A look at the full team rankings is listed below:

Four Ohio wrestlers are ranked in the top five of their weight classes, with redshirt seniors Garrett Thompson (Murrysville, Pa.) and Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) remain in the top spot in the conference at 174 and 184 lbs, respectively.

At 197 lbs,edshirt senior Zayne Lehman (Akron, Ohio) held steady in second in the MAC, while redshirt junior Derek Raike (Point Pleasant, W. Va.) remained at the fourth spot at 157 lbs.
