KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Ohio women's and men's cross country placed first and second, respectively, at the George Dales Invitational on Friday, Sept. 19. The women finished with 22 points and the men finished with 62 points.
 
Senior 
Allie Martin (Kingwood, W. Va.) was Ohio's top runner of the meet. Martin won the women's 6k race with a time of 21:02.4.
 
The women's team had six athletes place in the top 10 of the 6k race. Sophomore 
Kaitlyn Stewart (Floyd Knobs, Ind) placed third with a time of 21:13.9. Graduate student 
Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio) rounded out the top five, placing fifth with a time of 21:14.8. Senior 
Alyssa Mason (Dublin, Ohio) took home sixth place (21:15.6), graduate student 
Theresa Hagey (Akron, Ohio) came in seventh place (21:16.3) and senior 
Leila Boussedra (Worthington, Ohio) finished in eighth place (21:21.4).
 
Junior 
Andrew Bracken (Westerville, Ohio) was Ohio's top finisher in the men's 8k race. Bracken placed fourth with a time of 24:48.8. Junior 
Nick Kennedy (Hurricane, W. Va.) and sophomore 
Michael Dellasanta (Columbus, Ohio) also placed in the top 10 of the men's race. Kennedy placed eighth with a PR of 25:08.2 and Dellasanta placed 10
th with a PR of 25:09.6.
 
The Bobcats will be back in action at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational on Friday, Oct. 3.
