DAYTON, Ohio – The Ohio women's cross country team concluded regular season competition at the Wild Bill Invitational on Friday, Oct. 24. The women's team placed first with 18 points.
Senior
Morgan Roth (Brunswick, Ohio) was Ohio's top performer of the day. Roth placed first overall in the women's 5k with a time of 18:06.0. Freshman
Samantha Shreve (Buckhannon, W. Va.) and senior
Sara Doughman (South Lebanon, Ohio) crossed the finish line right behind Roth. Shreve placed second overall with a personal-best time of 18:25.1. Doughman placed third with a personal-best time of 18:26.7.
Sophomores
Sophie Lane (Hilliard, Ohio) and
Eva Hensley (Cincinnati, Ohio) also competed in the women's 5k for Ohio. Lane placed sixth with a personal-best time of 18:45.3 and Hensley placed 10
th with a time of 19:08.9.
The Bobcats will be back in action at the MAC Championships, hosted by Buffalo, on Saturday, Nov. 1.
