CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference has released its 2025 MAC Men's and Women's Cross Country Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by the league on Friday, August 29. The Ohio women's cross country team was picked to finish second with 133 points and three first place votes. The Ohio men's cross country team was picked to finish fifth with 44 points.
Toledo was selected to finish first for the women with 141 points. The Rockets were the only team, other than Ohio, to receive first place votes as they received 10 total.
Miami was selected to finish first for the men with 78 points. Toledo was picked to finish second (73 points) and Eastern Michigan was picked to finish third (67 points). Miami received six first place votes, Toledo received three and Eastern Michigan received one.
