EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Ohio men's and women's cross country teams concluded their season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships on Friday, Nov. 14. The women's team placed eighth overall with 263 points. The men's team placed 11
th overall, three spots higher than their regional ranking, with 385 points.
Senior
Allie Martin (Kingwood, W. Va.) was the top overall finisher for Ohio across both races. Martin placed 40
th overall in the women's 6k race with a time of 21:02.26. The women's group has four runners finish in the top 75 athletes, including Martin. Sophomore
Kaitlyn Stewart (Floyd Knobs, Ind.) took home 49
th place (21:11.13) followed by graduate student
Kelsi Harris (Liberty Township, Ohio) in 51
st place (21:11.99). Senior
Leila Boussedra (Worthington, Ohio) finished in 59
th place (21:16.92) for the Bobcats. Ohio also had senior
Alyssa Mason (Dublin, Ohio) finish in 79
th place (21:38.65), sophomore
Mairin O'Brien (Lewis Center, Ohio) finish in 95
th place (21:50.74, PR) and graduate student
Theresa Hagey (Akron, Ohio) finish in 108
th place (22:04.84).
Four out of seven Bobcats who competed in the men's 10k race recorded personal best times. Junior
Andrew Bracken (Westerville, Ohio) led the men's team in the 10k race with a 41
st overall finish and recorded a time of 31:11.51. Junior
Charlie Slates (Gahanna, Ohio) was Ohio's next best finisher, taking home 67
th place with a personal-best time of 31:57.47. Rounding out the top 100 finishers was sophomore
Michael Dellasanta (Columbus, Ohio) in 73

Sam Beeler (Cincinnati, Ohio) in 89
