ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio men's and women's cross country teams continue postseason competition this week with the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships on Friday, Nov. 14. The women's 6k will start at 11 a.m. ET and the men's 10k will follow at 12 p.m. ET.

The top two teams from each regional meet and 13 at-large team selections will compete at nationals. Individual qualifications will include 36 auto qualifiers and two at-large bids. The top two teams in each regional championship secure automatic bids. The first four regional finishers not from an automatic qualifying or at-large team also secure an auto-bid to the championships. The top 25 finishers from each race will be awarded All-Region honors.
At last year's regional meet, the women's team placed seventh and the men's finished 16
th place overall. Senior
Leila Boussedra (Worthington, Ohio) was Ohio's top overall finisher, taking home 26
th place in the women's 6k with a time of 20:16.7. Junior
Andrew Bracken (Westerville, Ohio) led the men's team in the 10k race, finishing in 74
th place with a time of 30:57.5.
