Ohio Swim and Dive Announce 2025-26 Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio swim and dive team have released its 2025-26 schedule, head coach Mason Norman announced today (Aug. 27). Ohio will host three meets in Athens to prepare for the 2026 MAC Championships in Akron. 

Ohio gets in the pool for the first time on Oct. 4 for the Bobcats annual Green and White Intrasquad and Alumni Meet. The meet is set to begin at 10 a.m. at the Ohio University Aquatic Center. 

The regular season begins Oct. 24-25 when the Bobcats host Marshall and Buffalo for a tri-meet in Athens. Competition on the 24th is set to begin at 5 p.m., with events on the 25th set to start at 10 a.m. 

Ohio then hits the road on Nov. 7 to take on Ball State in Muncie, Ind. The meet is set for 5 p.m. 

Nov. 20-23 sees Ohio head to Lynchburg, Va. for the 2025 TYR '85 Invite hosted by Liberty. Ohio will head into the holiday break with the 2025 Toyota US Open Dec. 3-6 in Austin, Texas. 
2026 begins with UB Diving Invite Jan. 8-10 in Buffalo, N.Y.

The Bobcats finally return to Athens on Jan. 16 to take on Bowling Green at 5 p.m. inside the Aquatic Center. The meet will serve as Senior Day for the Bobcats. 

In their final event before MACs, the Bobcats head to Akron, Ohio Jan. 30-31 for a dual meet with Akron.

The 2026 Mid-American Conference Championships are scheduled for February 25-28 in Akron, Ohio. This year's event is hosted by the Zips. 

The swimmers head to the 2026 CSCAA National Invitational March 13-14. 

The 2026 NCAA Zone C Diving Championships will take place March 11-13, while the 2026 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships will take place March 18-21 in Atlanta, Ga. 

Ohio swimming and diving is coming off a second-place finish at the 2025 MAC Championships, while junior Zita Szoke is coming off an historic 2025 that saw her become the first Bobcat to earn All-American status in 25 years, with her 11th-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle becoming the highest finish at NCAAs 1995.
