COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio women's track & field team concluded competition at the Jesse Owens Classic on Saturday, May 3.
 
Sophomore Elinor Shuttleworth (Beavercreek, Ohio) placed second in the women's 400m.
 
Three Bobcats competed in the women's 100m. Sophomore Jael Sykes (Hatfield, Pa.) placed third (12.75), sophomore Arissa Leo (Washington, D.C.) placed seventh (13.12) and junior Rhiea Gordon (Youngstown, Ohio) placed eighth (13.34).  Sykes also placed second in the women's 200m (25.88).
 
Freshman Mairin O'Brien (Lewis Center, Ohio) placed fifth in the women's steeplechase with a time of 10:54.90.
 
The Bobcats will be back in action at the Northeast Ohio Open on Thursday, May 8.
