MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ohio Women's Golf team wrapped up competition today (Apr. 22) at the 2025 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships. After a strong final round, the Bobcats claimed 6th overall. Individually, Ohio was led by sophomore Morgan Rodgers (Centerville, Ohio), junior Mackenzie McRee (Tucson, Ariz.), and sophomore Zoe Luebbers (Cincinnati, Ohio) who finished in the top-20 in a tie for 18th.
The three-day tournament, hosted by Ball State at Delaware Country Club, posed a challenge to each of the competitors across the three rounds. Ultimately, Kent State reigned supreme for the 26th consecutive season. The Golden Flashes shot a 873 (+9) as a team over the three days.
As a team, the Bobcats total score was put together through rounds of 301, 312, and 307, showing improvement through each of the rounds for a total of 920 (+56).
After the three rounds, Rodgers, McRee and Luebbers completed the tournament with total scores of 229 (+13). In the final round, Luebbers jumped three spots to claim a spot in the top-20.
Overall, Rodgers shot rounds of 72 (E), 80 (+8), and 77 (+5) to finish off her sophomore campaign. Rodgers finished the tournament with seven birdies and a strong consistency of shooting holes at par.
McRee began her tournament with rounds of 73 (+1), and back-to-back rounds of 78 (+6), to conclude out the tournament. In addition to also shooting six birdie across the three days, McRee's displayed consistency and outstanding performances on par fours which helped her remain in the hunt for the top of the leader board.
Luebbers had rounds of 76 (+4), 77 (+6), and 75 (+3) to cap off her strong sophomore campaign. Luebbers showed grit and determination over the three days after an impressive season to show off her skills and tenacity one last time on the green.
Next on the board, senior Sydney Longstreth (Carmel, Ind.) shot a total score of 242 (+26). Longstreth had rounds of 80 (+8), 83 (+11), and finished with a low of 79 (+7) to round out her last MAC Tournament. She finished strong with three birdies and help consistent on par fours.
Sophomore Anna Coccia (New Albany, Ohio) rounded out her sophomore season with a tie for 49th after being the substitute during round one. The sophomore finished her first round with a 76 (+4), and concluded the third round with an 77 (+5). Coccia finished her two rounds with true strength for her skills on the team and shot five birdies.

Ally Turner (Miamisburg, Ohio) placing 52nd after competing in the first round. Turner recorded an 94 (+22).
The MAC Championships will close out the season for Ohio Women's Golf. The Bobcats showed impressive growth throughout the season and will return in the fall for the 2025-26 season.
