RALEIGH, N.C. – The Ohio women's track & field team concluded its first weekend of the outdoor season with several personal best performances at the Raleigh Relays on Saturday, March 29.
Senior
Taja Booker (Simpsonville, S.C.) earned her second PR of the weekend in the women's 200m. Booker placed 19
th overall with a personal-best time of 24.16.
Ohio had five athletes compete in the women's 800m. Sophomore
Ellie Greenwell (Park Hills, Ky.) led the Bobcats with a PR of 2:10.52 and finished in 52
nd place. Junior
Sara Doughman (South Lebanon, Ohio) also ran a PR of 2:11.54 and finished in 66
th place. Freshman
Kaitlyn Stewart (Floyd Knobs, Ohio) finished in 76
th place with a time of 2:12.25. Freshman
Jaclyn Garvey (Grand Blanc, Mich.) recorded a personal-best time of 2:13.44 and sophomore
Elinor Shuttleworth (Beavercreek, Ohio) recorded a personal-best time of 2:16.31.
Freshmen
Ava Kincaid (Perrysburg, Ohio) and
Elisabeth Franczyk (Washington, Pa.) competed in the women's 400m hurdles. Kincaid finished 34
th with a time of 1:04.03 and Franczyk finished 42
nd with a time of 1:05.02.
Sophomore
Emilee Baumann (Powell, Ohio) finished 17
th in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.40 meters (11-1.75).
The Bobcats will be back in action when they host their annual Cherry Blossom Invitational on Friday, April 4.
