Ohio Announces Gameday Enhancements for 2024-25 Men’s Basketball Season

ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio Athletics has announced several updates, new offerings, and fan reminders ahead of the home opener on Saturday, November 9 vs. UNC Asheville at 7 p.m. inside the Convocation Center.
Gates Open One Hour Prior to Tip-Off
Adjusted for this season, doors to the Convocation Center will open one hour prior to tip-off. For Saturday's 7 p.m. tip-off, fans are welcome to enter the Convo starting at 6 p.m.
360-degree Concourse
Your tickets will be scanned upon entering the doors of the Main Entrance. This enables the lobby to be part of the arena's footprint, allowing for longer interactions with our promotional tables, as well as exploration of the Kermit Blosser Athletics Hall of Fame.
Gameday Spirit – Merchandise available in new location
The Official Fanstore of the Ohio Bobcats has moved its location to the Main Lobby. Feel free to stop by and explore the latest selection of Ohio Bobcats merchandise.
Concessions - Self Check-out to be added in December
To increase efficiency in visits to the concessions stands, starting in December, several stands will utilize a new grab-n-go concept for enjoying refreshing bottles of Coca-Cola, popcorn, and hot dogs while visiting the Convocation Center.
Parking Lots Open Two Hours Prior to Tip-Off
Fans coming to Saturday's game are encouraged to wear green to support the start of the season. Magnet schedules and posters will be available for the first time at the marking kiosks. Fans can see the remainder of the 2024-25 promotional schedule here.
