Ohio Men’s Basketball Adds Rhode Island Transfer Moek Icke to Roster

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio men's basketball team has added Rhode Island transfer center Moek Icke to the roster for the 2026-27 season, head coach Jeff Boals announced today (May 29).
"Moek will provide our roster with a skilled big with great size" Boals said. "He gained valuable experience at Rhode Island. We are excited to add him to our roster. "
The 7-1 center from Purmerend, Netherlands comes to Ohio after spending two seasons at Rhode Island.
Icke was member of the Netherlands national team program, he averaged 5.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots per game for the Netherlands at the FIBA U18 European Championships in 2023.
