
Ohio Men’s Basketball Adds Belgian Forward Siebe Ledegen to Roster

ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio men's basketball team has added Belgian forward Siebe Ledegen to the roster for the 2026-27 season, head coach Jeff Boals announced today (May 21).
"Siebe is an experienced wing who has played at a high level," Boals said. "He will positively impact our team right away. He can play inside and out and has great positional size. Siebe has a high basketball IQ and very high character. We look forward to him making an impact on the floor and in the locker room."
Ledegen, a 6-7 forward from Aalst, Belgium most recently played for Okapi Aaist in the Belgian Pro Basketball League. In 34 games during the 2025-26 season, Ledegen averaged 12.8 points, while shooting 57.1 percent from the field, 41.1 percent from three and 81.3 percent from the line. In 28.6 minutes per game, Ledegen also averaged 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists. He scored in double figures 30 times during the season and scored a season-high 26 points on March 28, 2026 against Groningen, where he went 8-of-9 from the field and 3-of-4 from three.
Ledegen played for the Belgian National Team from 2023-2026. Most recently in the 2027 FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers, Ledegen placed in four games and averaged 7.0 points and 2.8 rebounds a game. He shot 50 percent from the field and 80 percent from the line.
