Ohio Men's Basketball Announces 2024-25 Promotional Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio Athletics announced its full promotional schedule for the 2024-25 men's basketball season Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 6).
The Bobcats will host 16 games in The Convocation Center this season on their quest to earn a Mid-American Conference championship.
The promotional slate kicks off Saturday, November 9. Wear Green to support Ohio and the start of the season. Magnet schedules and posters will be available for the first time at marketing kiosks.
On Saturday, December 7, the Bobcats will celebrate Holiday Hoops with a free OHIO-branded ornament for those in attendance. Also, the Performance Dogs of Ohio will put on a show at halftime.
Holiday celebrations continue on Wednesday, December 18, with the Ugly Sweater Game. It will be a fun-filled night with holiday-themed contests, music and more. There will also be an ugly sweater contest. Stick around after the game for an autograph session with the team.
Ring in the new year with Athens Gives Back on Monday, December 30. Fans can receive free admission to the game when they donate 3+ canned food items. All proceeds will be donated to the Athens County Food Pantry. Click here for preferred donation items.
Celebrate the first day of Spring Semester on Tuesday, January 14 with the Green & White Game. Each section of The Convo will be assigned a specific color to wear. Check the graphic below for color assignments. That night, Ohio and Ball State will also partake in Hoops4ALS. The Brook Jump Rope Team will perform at halftime as well.
On Friday, January 24, the Bobcats will Turn it Gold in support of childhood cancer awareness. The Viking Magic Drill Team will perform at halftime as well.
Shine your shoes for Sneaker Night on Tuesday, January 28. Join the fight against cancer as the team collaborates with the National American Cancer Society to partake in the nationwide event: Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers week. Students arriving early to the game can enter our Sneaker Contest and have a chance to win an Adidas gift card to purchase a new pair of sneakers. There will also be a T-Shirt giveaway and Chick-Fil-a sandwiches for students.
The Bobcats will go back in time to when coach Jeff Boals roamed the campus halls on Tuesday, February 4. 90's Night at The Convo will be filled with hits sure to excite.
Saturday, February 8 is Sibs Weekend and Neon Night at The Convo. Be ready for a game full of neon colors, a glow stick giveaway, face painting and electronic music.
Break out a Hawaiian shirt and a lei for beach night on Tuesday, February 18. The first 200 students who arrive early will receive a free bucket hat.
Wear White to Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, February 22. The Bobcats celebrate active and retired members of the armed forces. On-court presentations and activations will focus on the brave individuals who serve the U.S. Also, the first 400 students who arrive early to the game will receive a free White Out T-Shirt. Stick around after the game for a postgame autograph session with the team.
Miami comes to town on Saturday, March 1 for the Battle of the Bricks. Wear Green to show your support for Ohio as it takes on its rival. Free rally towels will be available for early-arriving students. The game is the second of a double-header with the women's basketball team.
The final home game of the season on Tuesday, March 4 is both Senior Night and the Student Appreciation Game. Show some love to the departing Bobcats and the students who cheer them on all season.
