Ohio Football to Take on Ohio State in 2025

ATHENS, Ohio—The Ohio football program will take on Ohio State on September 13, 2025 at Ohio Stadium, Ohio Athletics announced on Wednesday.

Ohio has played Ohio State six previous times, with the series starting in 1899. Ohio last took on the Buckeyes in 2010.

Ohio's 2024 non-conference schedule is complete, with road trips to Syracuse and Kentucky and hosting South Alabama and Morgan State inside Peden Stadium.

This season, the Bobcats are 3-1 with wins over Florida Atlantic, LIU and Iowa State. Ohio will open in Mid-American Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 23 at Bowling Green. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+ and the Ohio Sports Network from Learfield.
