TORONTO— Ohio football alumnus Pierre Kemeni Jr. was drafted by the BC Lions as the 36th overall pick in the 2026 Canadian Football League Draft (April 28). Â
Kemeni (Milton, Ontario, Canada) appeared in 12 games for the Bobcats in 2025, recording five total tackles and one solo stop. The 2025 season marked his second stint in Athens; Kemeni played for the Bobcats from 2020-2, amassing 11 tackles in nine games in 2021. Kemeni also made stops at Texas State (2022), Garden City Community College (2023) and New Mexico (2024).Â
