FOOTBALL

The Ohio football team (3-1, 0-0 MAC) opens Mid-American Conference play on the road this weekend when they head to Bowling Green, Ohio on Sept. 23 to take on Bowling Green (1-2, 0-0 MAC). Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+ where Doug Sherman and Marcus Ray will have the call.
Ohio is coming off a 10-7 victory over Iowa State at Peden on Saturday, giving Ohio it's first victory over a Power 5 opponent since 2017 when the Bobcats defeated Kansas in Athens. Graduate student linebacker
Bryce Houston was named the MAC East Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season thanks to his 15-tackle performance on Saturday.
WOMEN'S GOLF

The Ohio women's golf team is back in action for its third tournament of the fall season when they head to Yorktown, Ind. for the 2023 Brittany Kelly Classic hosted by Ball State. The two-day 54 hole event begins on Monday, Sept. 18 with 36 holes and concludes on Tuesday, Sept. 19 with 18 holes. Both days will take place at the The Players Club.
Along with Ohio, competing is this year' event are: Ball State, UNC Asheville, Loyola, Western Michigan, Cleveland State, Purdue Fort Wayne, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Western Illinois, Valpo, IUPUI and UIC.

After a week off, Ohio soccer (2-3-2, 0-0-0 MAC) is back in action looking to stat MAC play off strong. The Bobcats return to Athens on Thursday, Sept. 21 when Ohio hosts Kent State (3-2-2, 0-0-0 MAC). First touch is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Chessa Field and can be seen on ESPN+. Ohio then heads to Buffalo, N.Y. on Sunday, Sept. 24 to take on Buffalo (3-1-3, 0-0-0 MAC). First touch is scheduled for 1 p.m. at UB Stadium.
The Bobcats have not played since Sept. 10.

The Ohio field hockey (2-3, 0-1 MAC) team is back on the road this weekend for two matches. Ohio opens the weekend on Friday, Sept. 22 when they head to Kent, Ohio to take on Kent State (2-6, 1-0 MAC). First touch is scheduled for 3 p.m. Ohio then heads to Columbus on Sunday, Sept. 24 to battle it out with Ohio State (8-1). Game time is set for 1 p.m. and can be seen on BTN+.

The Ohio volleyball team (5-7, 0-0 MAC) also opens MAC play this weekend when the Bobcats host Akron (5-6, 0-0 MAC) for a weekend series in the Convo. Match one is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 22, with first serve scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+. The series concludes on Saturday, Sept. 23 for a 4 p.m. matchup with the Zips, which can also be seen on ESPN+.
The Bobcats swept last season's series with Akron.
