The Ohio football team (2-1) is back in Athens for a big matchup on Saturday, Sept. 16 as the Bobcats welcome Iowa State (1-1) to The Frank. Kick-off is set for 12 p.m. and can be seen on ESPNU where John Schriffen and Rocky Boiman will have the call.
Ohio is coming off a 17-10 victory at Florida Atlantic on Saturday evening. The Ohio defense was solid, holding FAU to 185 total yards, while holding the Owls' rushing attack to only five yards. Graduate student quarterback
Kurtis Rourke (Oakville, Ontario, Canada) returned to the starting lineup and went 18-for-29 with 203 yards and a touchdown. Redshirt senior running back
O'Shaan Allison (Malvern, Pa.) led the team on the ground, finishing the game with 80 rushing yards on 22 carries, scoring his first touchdown since 2019.
WOMEN'S GOLF

The Ohio women's golf team is back in action for its second tournament of the fall season when they head to Cincinnati, Ohio for the 2023 Jennifer Duke Invitational hosted by Cincinnati. The two-day 54 hole event begins on Monday, Sept. 11 with 36 holes and concludes on Tuesday, Sept. 12 with 18 holes. Both days will take place at the Losantiville Country Club.
Along with Ohio, competing is this year' event are: Cincinnati, Dayton, FIU, Marshall, Arkansas State, Xavier, Western Michigan and Western Kentucky.

The Ohio volleyball team (5-4) is back in action this weekend when they head to Ames, Iowa for thr 2023 Cyclone Invitational hosted by Iowas State, Sept. 14-16. The Bobcats open play on Thursday, Sept. 14 when they take on Drake (5-4) at 5 p.m. Ohio is back on the court on Friday, Sept. 15 when they battle host Iowas State (7-1) at 7:30 p.m., before closing competition on Saturday, Sept. 16 against UC Santa Barbra (8-1) at 12:30 p.m. All three matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
Ohio is coming off a 1-2 weekend at the Bobcat Invitational, where the Bobcats defeated William and Mary, 3-1 on the final day of the invite.

The Ohio field hockey (2-2) team is back in action at home this weekend after a thrilling home opener on Sunday. The Bobcats open MAC play on Friday, Sept. 15 when they host Ball State (1-4). First touch is set for 3 p.m. at Pruitt Field and can be seen on ESPN+

Katelyn Whittle (Glenwood, Md.) added two assists for Ohio, while sophomore
Sasha Dikotla (Johannesburg, South Africa) added one.
In net, senior
Macy Lotze (Louisville, Ky.) never faltered, allowing two goals and making 14 saves on 21 shots faced in 63 minutes in net.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY

The Ohio men's and women's cross country teams are back in action this Friday, Sept. 15 for the 2023 Mel Brodt Collegiate Open hosted by Bowling Green at the Mel Brodt Cross Country Course. The men's 8k is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m, while the women's 6k is set to start at 6:05 p.m.
Both teams are coming off the 54
th Annual Tommy Evans Invitational on Sept. 1. The women's team placed second, while the men finished seventh. Sophomore
Leila Boussedra (18.05.5/Worthington, Ohio) who placed third overall. Junior
