COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the NFHCA Division I All-Region teams, naming freshman forward
Tiana Nhamoinesu (Thrisk, North Yorkshire) to the All-West Region Second Team.
Division I teams are separated into five regions:
Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Northeast, South and
West. Each of these regions recognizes up to 16 student-athletes on both the first and second teams.
Nhamoinesu made an instant impact in her first year with the Bobcats, logging 805 minutes across 18 games. Nhamoinesu lead the team in goals (6), shots (37), and shots on goal (27). Nhamoinesu finished the year on a hot streak, scoring in five consecutive games for the Bobcats, highlighted by a two goal performance at Kent State in a 6-4 win.
